Times Really Does Fly "fly by that is"

Time Really Does Fly - fly by that is...  We have a Great Nephew, his name is  PRESTON!

He is just so darned cute!  Our Niece and her husband Mike are thrilled with their bundle of JOY, as are we, and the whole family.

I created this little quilt with some fun fabrics for boys..all that wonderful BLUE!  Yahoo, I do love boys...  The design is simple with a few 3-D style blocks  added for fun.

I did the free motion with my  Jenome 7700, and used flannel for the backing (it's soft and cozy flannel (in blue, of course).

Various pictures of the front, along with some close ups of the great little blocks added.
the fun little monkeys, reminded me of, " no more monkeys jumping on the bed."  I just had to incorporate this fabric.

The little blue/white checker fabric is A, B, C blocks.. oh so cute!

A little close up of the quilting done.

A close up of the free motion, wavy lines, swirls and echos

the back, flannel, nice and cozy.

I played with a variety of free motion ideas in a random way. Various circles, waving lines, swirls and echoing etc.   Our Niece was very thankful and happy to receive this wonderful quilt.
I used a piece of the Monkey fabric and incorporated it in the label.

Go PRESTON Go!

You little monkey...
Love Auntie Debbie and the gang.
